The content here is for general education. It is not medical or mental-health advice, and reading it does not create a clinician-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and an Aurora clinician agree to work together and complete the practice intake.
Not for emergencies
Aurora is an outpatient practice and does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you or someone you are with is in immediate danger, call 911. For mental health crisis support any time, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
No guarantees of outcome
Therapy outcomes vary from person to person. Nothing on this site is a promise of a particular result.
Appointment requests
Submitting a request through our form is a request to be contacted, not a confirmed appointment. We follow up to see whether we are a fit and, if so, to schedule.
Accuracy
We work to keep this site current, but content may change or contain errors. Clinician availability, services, rates, and insurance participation are subject to change, and we confirm specifics with you directly.

We link to third-party resources for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content.
Intellectual property
The text, design, and images on this site belong to Aurora Counseling Associates or are used with permission. Please do not reproduce them without permission.
